Winter Feed Ordering 2026

Collection dates: 1st August and 15th August. There will be no other opportunities to collect outside of these dates.

Please ensure that jerrycans brought to be used for syrup are fit for the purpose – plastics that have been left out in the open all year will be mechanically compromised. If your jerrycan splits upon filling, you will be mopping it up, and you will not be refunded…

Large orders to be collected from the tanker in your own IBC will require special collection arrangements.

update: 29/6/26: Winter feed orders seem to be drifting to a halt, bulk syrup is ordered, and I shall be submitting the rest of the order (the palletised goods) tomorrow. At time of writing we have the remaining:
6 Jerrycans (14kg syrup)
8 Fondant boxes (5x2.5kg)
3 Fondant boxes (12x1kg)
and 2 x 1kg packs 'candipolline gold'.

David has also asked me to let you know that he has 4x 1kg sachets of candipolline left over from last year. They have a best-before date this autumn, so if you'd like them for a donation to association funds, please message me, or him, separately...

Update 30/6/26 : order form now closed, if you still need anything please contact geoffwhite58@gmail.com or message 07787 550097 and we'll see what we can do...

Sorry… This form is closed to new submissions.

The Winter feed order is now ready and should have been sent to all our Suffolk Beekeeper members (via your association secretary or direct from Geoff if you ordered last year) - the supplies have been ordered and the form is up. It's a new person sorting it out and the new website through which the orders come has been re-engineered and re-platformed.

The collection dates will be on the 1st and 15th August 2026 and from the same location as last year; ie the cow shed round the back of the yard! If you can't come then you need to arrange for someone else to collect on your behalf.

If everyone orders for the same collection time, some of you will be asked to come later, with the earliest orders taking the first choice slots

we're nearly there, a couple of tweaks in the morning and Michael should be able to publish the order form Monday evening...

a few notes; if you normally bring your own IBCs to be filled by the tanker when it arrives from Belgium, please click the 'I'm a bee farmer' button on the front page and you'll be taken to the industrial bulk order section once you've put your details in and clicked 'next'. Delivery will be on the Monday or Tuesday before the 1st of August. Billing is in kg, so if you're thinking litres, use the 1.37kg/l conversion rate: eg 700litres = 959kg/ / 900l=1233kg etc...

for the rest of us 'normal people' you'll be taken to the bulk syrup form where you can say how many of your own 10l jerrycans you want filled. These will be filled with 13kg of invertbee syrup. The syrup density is 13.7 kg/l, so fitting 14kg into a 10l can is a bit of a problem - the factory can do it because they have machinery to brim the cans accurately, whereas we wind up with a sticky mess on the floor of David's barn - so you can only order multiples of 13kg... just put in the number of cans you are bringing.

As previously, you can also order ready filled 14kg syrup cans, we've tried to make the order pages as simple as we can, click next and you'll be taken to the fondant ordering page, then the pollen ordering page, then confirmation, payment etc. You'll  also get an email invoice for your records...

I've made an initial order with the suppliers to match last year's orders - if you come up against a 'sold out' message, contact me and ill try to get the order adjusted; Geoff White: email geoffwhite58@gmail.com or WhatsApp 07787 550097
