An elementary description of swarming in a honeybee colony. Talk through one method of swarm control. Describe how to take a swarm and how to hive it.

How to set up an apiary and what precautions should be taken to avoid your honeybees being a nuisance to beekeepers, neighbours, and livestock. Describe the possible effects of honeybee stings on humans and able to recommend suitable first aid treatment.
